Inspired by the dragonfly—a symbol of transformation, resilience, and inner light—we are a sanctuary for change, healing, and personal growth. Our mission is to empower individuals on their journey toward meaningful, sustainable recovery through a holistic and experiential approach to treatment.
We provide substance use disorder treatment for teens and adults, including individual and group counseling, animal-assisted services, and immersive workshops. We recognize that recovery is often impacted by co-occurring concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, and emotional regulation. Through meaningful connection and practical, evidence-based approaches, we help clients understand these connections, strengthen coping skills, reduce relapse risk, and build healthier, more sustainable lives.

Through guided interactions with horses, clients can explore patterns, build emotional awareness, strengthen coping and communication skills, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress and triggers. Equine-based activities may also support clients in exploring how trauma and other life experiences intersect with substance use and recovery.
State-Licensed & Community Trusted
The Wings of Dragonfly is a Georgia state-licensed Drug Abuse Treatment and Education Program (DATEP) providing individualized substance use disorder treatment for adolescents and adults. We are also a CLIA-waived testing site, providing drug and alcohol testing as part of treatment, monitoring, and court-involved services.
We are proud to serve as a treatment provider for Cherokee County Family Treatment Court and PATH Juvenile Drug Court, collaborating with court and community partners to support recovery, accountability, family stability, and lasting change.
